What is the Puerto Bolivar project?
Roldán Logística has been a strategic ally of Cerrejón for more than 30 years, making history by being part of the development of one of the largest coal projects in the world.
Project History
In 1981, when Morrison Knudsen International was selected as the main contractor for the construction of the El Cerrejón Zona Norte Carboniferous Complex, it began importing equipment which was nationalized by the Roldan Customs Agency.
During 1992, 13 million tons of coal were extracted, which generated 19,917 million pesos in royalties.
In total, the royalties generated by the production of bastard, since 1985, add up to an accumulated, as of December 1992, of 67,646 million pesos, operations in which Roldan & Company have participated as port operator of Puerto Bolivar since 1988 .
Demonstrating its versatility in meeting the needs of our clients, Roldan & Company provided equipment maintenance services and mining and railway equipment washing, between 1993 and 1996.
Since 2003 and to date, Roldán has continuously provided stevedoring, equipment maintenance, vehicle leasing, rescue boat operation and port operation services.
In 2011, with a new vote of confidence by Cerejon, Roldan & Company was assigned the responsibility of transporting personnel in and out of the Puerto Bolivar camp, a responsibility that remains to date, also involving full maintenance services. to the entire fleet of vehicles.

Currently, Roldán provides maintenance services to heavy machinery and light vehicles in a fully equipped workshop with qualified and certified personnel, and is also the only authorized port operator in Puerto Bolivar .
